If they remain unseen, they remain unfree.

Less than half of 1 percent of human trafficking victims are identified. That needs to change.

Identification is the doorway to freedom. Across the Middle East and North Africa, millions of people are living in human trafficking situations but remain unseen and unsupported. The Rain Collective exists to change that reality by focusing on what most anti-trafficking efforts miss: victim identification. Through trusted local partnerships, frontline training, survivor-centered programs, and advocacy at the United Nations, we work to ensure that exploitation is recognized, responses are timely, and freedom becomes possible. This Case for Support outlines why identification is the critical first step, how our model is already creating impact, and why this moment presents a unique opportunity to build lasting systems that protect the vulnerable and restore dignity.
